Q: How much is a listing?
A: One dollar per listing per category. Example: One (1) listing in three (3) categories would cost $3.00
Q: Does it cost additional money when my item sells?
A: No. It only costs a buck per item per category.
Q: If I have an expensive item, does it cost more?
A: No. It does not matter if your are selling you merchandise for a $1.00 or $100,000.00 it's only a buck.
Q: How long is a listing active for?
A: 30 days. The seller will be notified 5 days prior to expiration with an option to renew. A seller may choose to auto renewal when initially listing their item.
Q: Is this an auction site?
A: No. List It For A Buck is designed for classified listings only.
Q: How do buyers and sellers communicate?
A: To maintain the privacy of our users, initial communication should be done through user accounts. It will be at the seller's discretion to either put contact information on their listing or instruct the buyer how to communicate with seller upon sale and item exchange.
Q: What is a Product Listing?
A: A product listing is a listing of any item or service for sale. You can select up to 5 categories - and an unlimited number of subcategories within those categories - in which to list your product.
Q: What is a Business Listing?
A: A business listing is a banner that displays the contact info, logo or image and hyperlink to the website for your business. This listing appears in the category(-ies) and subcategory(-ies) you select, as well as on the product listing pages of the product listings in your account. You can select up to 5 categories - and an unlimited number of subcategories within those categories - in which to list your business.
Q: What is the Benefit of a Business Listing?
A. When potential buyers are searching for a particular item, your business listing will appear in search results and on the pages of the products they're looking at. Having a business listing also allows you as a seller to place your business information on all of the product listing pages that you add to the site.
Q: How do I link my Business Listing to my Product Listing?
A. When you purchase a business listing, you can select up to 5 categories - and an unlimited number of subcategories within those categories - in which that listing will appear.
Q: How do I list my business?
A: Two ways. After setting up a user account, an online store can be linked to your listed item or your business can be entered as a stand alone in individual categories.
Q: How much does it cost to list a business?
A: Less than a buck a day per category: $24.95/month. User has the option to list for One (1) month, quarterly (5% discount), bi-annually (15% discount), or annually (25% discount).
Q: How do I monitor the traffic of my listing?
A: When you are logged into your account and review your listing, a counter will be available for the user to see the number of visits to your listing.
Q: Can I be notified if a new item is listed that I am interested in?
A: Yes. Any account user has the option to save specific searches for notification purposes when a same or similar item is listed. An account user would have to turn the search off for notifications to stop.
